New License Purchase Question

I just purchased a copy and when I log into the website(not the forum) I am asked to change the password every time that I do.
Is this expected?

website LOGIN area requires only for license reactivation (if you need to transfer your license to another PC)
Use your e-mail to activate Paintstorm. You don't need to know your password if you do not going to deactivate a license.
