Major graphical bugs with new M1 MacBook Air

Post by DataBrain » Wed Dec 09, 2020 8:35 pm

Hello,
I recently ordered a MacBook Air using the new M1 processors, and PaintStorm Studio is completely unusable for me. I get weird graphical errors across the entire UI (Although I am still able to access things like options)

I am using a Retina display, and the installer had a suggestion to change the global interface scale, but that's about it. Messing around with things like GPU acceleration options didn't seem to fix this issue.

Are there any suggestions for what I can do about this issue? I know the M1 processor has its own compatibility quirks, but I believe apple translates bytecode while running applications compiled for the previous intel processors. Is this a compatibility issue I can fix, or am I SOL until the Paintstorm Studio dev team comes out with a fix?

Thanks,
