First I would like to say the improvements on version 2.45 are awesome. Love the Mesh feature,, however..Why on gods green earth would Paintstorm change a 300dpi psd file that was not created in paintstorm to 72 dpi?..simply by opening the file in painstorm? NOBODY works in 72 dpi!, so basically it destroyed the file for printing purposes.

I think I have allready asked why the default file type being 72 dpi. I don't wanna accidentally start working a file in 72 dpi. So In general, why does the program auto make a file in 72 dpi? I change it to 300, but now i realize after the fact, when I opened a 300dpi PSD. file in paintstorm and it actually changed it to 72dpi. WHY. I ask WHY? Its so wrong becuase there is no turning back. it gives no warning that is what to do to the file before loading.

-still need a way to direct the gradient mode in lasso options, perhaps a directional pointer marquee , maybe a contour to form setting, contiguous to the lasso outline? would be so awesome.

same happened to me
The only way to retain the resolution is using pss file instead of psd
it wont change the resolution until you close the file and re-open it

the only time it retained its original dpi is by saving pss file but not the other
if i saved it in psd file it just convert everything to 72 dpi after i closed the window or open it on new drawing software
