UI issues with Linux and foreign shell

Post by archivederchi » Fri Oct 12, 2018 2:05 pm

Hello I use Linux and I was able to install and use paintstorm for a few months.
but recentely I changed my default Linux shell (from bash to xonsh) and now the text
of the UI inside the program is invisible, the program runs fine otherwise.
I get that this is an exotic circumstance so I am not expecting much support for this niche case but any help would be appriciated.
when I launch paintstorm through a terminal I get this message both in bash and in xonsh as default a shell so I don't think it's
the issue.

the message is:
/usr/share/paintstorm/Paintstorm
/usr/share/paintstorm/Paintstorm: /usr/lib/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: no version information available (required by /usr/share/paintstorm/Paintstorm)

Here is an image of how the ui looks:

Well... did you install libcurl-gnutls properly?
