Bristle mode gets very thin randomly

Imagine just painting with a circle with bristle brush on. Just a stroke, paints fine.
Suddenly instead of a full thick stroke, it will get extremely thin and "crackish" as if its not rendering properly.
Changing color, or selecting a different brush and back again fixes it.
No idea what causes it. It just happens randomly. Ive stopped using the bristle brush sadly as its the only thing that causes it.
It happens with Bristle mode only, doesnt matter what brush customizations are set.
