iPadPro bugs: flashing screen and disappearing brushes

Post by Long_haired_artist » Wed Feb 24, 2016 9:52 pm

Firstly, any customized brushes or changes to brush settings disappear whenever i see the message to load an auto save on start.
This includes completely new brushes I've made, but does not make the category folder/icon vanish. This happens regardless of if I choose to load the auto save or not. I've attempted to save brush as default. Not sure if I've saved workspaces.

Secondly, a weird bug. After using undo the brush pressure will cause the entire screen to increase in brightness relative to pressure with apple pencil. It continues to happen until drawing for x amount of time, but the brightness fluxes any time I use undo. It might be related to code for mouse over on the button to flash the screen upon hitting undo.

If Paintstorm ask to load autosave - it means that it was closed with error. To be better - save your custom brushes after creation.

2)Seen this glitch at once... But can't understand the cause.... Try to move undo button to other place(if your are use undo hot-button) You can move it by 2-fingers gesture. Also workspace switch can be helpful.

1. Saved brushes appear to be staying put :)
2. Haven't been able to replicate the flashing issue. I was using a custom brush with direction gradient color and messing around with tilt affecting B in colors. Maybe also trying different transparency modes in both layer and brush.

Thank you! This is the best painting app.
