I started making some sketches for a couple of patterns but I wanted to move one portion of the object to add some details but I couldn't make a selection beyond the work area so I ended up moving the layer so the part I needed to move was in the center, then select and move the part and then reposition the layer again, it was a bit clunky specially for parts that where larger or covered odd areas in intricate ways.
So the question is, is it possible to have a function that lets you do a selection that also goes outside the work area just like the brushes can trespass it? (if it isn't there one already).
Also, is it possible to have the "selection lasso" and the "lasso fill/erase" separate?.
