Paintstorm Studio, DPI = Resolution in this case?

When I look it up online, DPI is not equal to resolution(?)

I'm still not sure I understand all of these



But in paintstorm studio's case, is DPI equal to the resolution option here?
(And yes, I'm trying to print something out.)
Help will be greatly appreciated!

It's equal if you already create canvas and wanted to change it's size - "Menu-image-image resize"
