Re: Excessive idle CPU usage on linux + pressure sensitivity detection issue
Lol, it was worth a try. :D And thanks for offer. I've been on Linux since May 2017, and was on Mint Mate/Cinnamon, but am very settled with Neptune KDE since July this year. Thankfully straightforward to use, but I'm good at copy and paste for the basics shall we say. Unfortunately PSS do...

Re: Excessive idle CPU usage on linux + pressure sensitivity detection issue
Not sure if this might help with pressure etc, but, when I tried Manjaro a while ago, I had to do this fix:
kernel was 4.14.48-2 ... sudo pacman -S linux414-headers ... then was able to add digimend drivers hadn't been able to install.
NO idea if this fix is relevant to wacom/xfce etc, but it worked.

Re: answer if PSS won't install due to visual C++ error
Sorry; I'm not sure. My post was so long ago, plus am on Linux now, using PSS on the ipad. Might there be a log file somewhere that could give you a clue?

Re: How to uninstall/upgrade PSS on Linux
Hi Asteroth and thank you. Glad to hear you were able to uninstall PSS, and very good of you to help out by contacting the devs. Yes, I'm not waiting for a working Linux version anymore, plus am back on LM 18.1/no flatpaks, which is great actually ... I'm settled into Krita now anyways, and really l...

Re: How to uninstall/upgrade PSS on Linux
Hi Asteroth, and you're very welcome. I was a bit wary of doing anything I wasn't sure of when I first came over to Linux in May. It's good to be careful and check first. I tried Paintstorm, but there's no pressure sensitivity for non-Wacom (I use an Ugee 2150). I check back now and then to see if t...

Re: How to uninstall/upgrade PSS on Linux
Back when I tried to use it, it was best to install Catfish. I can't remember the places it was hidden (root folders etc), but Catfish should show them.
Just caught sight of another post that references /usr/share/paintstorm.

Re: Linux version
Ah. Well, I'm sure you're not the only one, so I've created a standalone flatpak that you can download and install on your own. I'll link it here and on the `Linux Flatpak` thread. You guys can download it at this link http://mdit.to/files/flatpak/paintstorm_v2.02_18-6-2017.flatpak . Flatpak doesn'...

Re: Linux version
Thanks, allthecoffee. I'm just not able to get away with the flatpak/git stuff. Such a newb with Linux, but thankfully very happy with Krita now. if the libinput issue is fixed, I'll look at PSS again. Much appreciate your great work on this. Very good of you.

Re: Linux version
I could possibly make an arch user repository package if anyone wants to make the installation process easier for arch users. (It's actually pretty easy to get it working on arch, after running the installation file I just install these dependencies: glew, glut, libcurl-gnutls and then I symlink li...
